Eli Manning
Eli Manning, born Elisha Nelson Manning IV on January 3, 1981, in New Orleans, Louisiana, is a screen presence best known for appearing as himself across sports documentaries, specials, and televised events. While widely recognized for his career as an NFL quarterback, his on-camera work has made him a familiar face in football-focused entertainment and pop-culture programming.
After starring in college football at the University of Mississippi, Manning entered the 2004 NFL Draft as the first overall selection. Drafted by the San Diego Chargers, he was traded on draft day to the New York Giants—where he went on to spend 16 seasons, a long run that fueled many of the productions that later featured him.
Coming from one of football’s most prominent families, he is the youngest son of former NFL quarterback Archie Manning and the younger brother of Peyton Manning. That legacy, combined with his own high-profile career, has helped shape his media footprint beyond the field.
Among Manning’s notable screen credits are NFL Super Bowl XLII Champions: New York Giants, Super Bowl XLVI Champions: New York Giants, The Book of Manning, David Blaine: What Is Magic?, New York Giants Road to XLVI, Peyton Manning's Summer School, The Helmet Catch, and a voice appearance as himself on The Simpsons Funday Football.
