Emma D'Arcy
Emma D’Arcy (also credited internationally as Έμα Ζία Ντ'άρσι, 엠마 다르시, and エマ・ダーシー) is an English screen actor born on June 27, 1992, in London, England. Known for intelligent, character-driven performances, D’Arcy has built a profile that moves fluidly between prestige television and acclaimed independent film.
They first drew wider attention in the BBC drama Wanderlust (2018), followed by the Amazon Prime series Truth Seekers (2020). D’Arcy’s global breakthrough arrived with HBO’s fantasy epic House of the Dragon (2022–present), where their portrayal of Rhaenyra Targaryen earned major critical praise and two Golden Globe nominations.
On film, D’Arcy’s notable credits include Misbehaviour as Hazel and Mothering Sunday as Emma Hobday, showcasing a grounded presence across period and contemporary storytelling.
