Este Haim

Este Arielle Haim (also credited as Haim) is a Los Angeles–born musician, singer, and songwriter known for her work in sound and on-screen music appearances. Born March 14, 1986, she grew up in California in a family with deep roots in performance and sport—her father is Israeli footballer Mordechai Haim.

She is best recognized as the bassist of the pop-rock band HAIM, formed with her sisters Danielle and Alana Haim. As part of the trio, Este has helped shape the group’s tight, rhythm-driven sound while also becoming a familiar presence in music documentaries and concert films, including HAIM: Behind the Album and HAIM / Valentine.

Beyond the stage, Haim has expanded her screen credits with notable appearances as herself, from The Women Concert for Change to Shania Twain: Not Just a Girl (archive footage) and Taylor Swift: The 1989 World Tour - Live (special guest). In 2019, she showed her comedic side in The Lonely Island Presents: The Unauthorized Bash Brothers Experience as Val Gal.

In 2021, she entered the Paul Thomas Anderson universe with Licorice Pizza, credited as Este Kane, further cementing her crossover appeal between contemporary music and film.
