Ethan Embry
Ethan Embry (born June 13, 1978, in Huntington Beach, California) is an American screen actor recognized for a career that spans film and television. He was born Ethan Philan Randall and has also been credited as Ethan Randall, with his name appearing in other-language listings as ایتان امبری.
Embry first gained wide attention in popular studio comedies, notably as Rusty Griswold in Vegas Vacation, and continued building momentum with memorable roles in films such as Dutch and A Far Off Place. His approachable presence and sharp timing helped him stand out in coming-of-age and ensemble projects throughout the 1990s.
In the years that followed, he broadened his range across genres, from the cult-leaning thriller Disturbing Behavior to the sci-fi adventure Timeline. He also made a strong impression in the music-driven hit That Thing You Do! as the band’s T.B. Player.
Embry’s later work includes darker, more grounded turns, including his role as the Mechanic in the suspense film Vacancy. Across decades of credits, he remains a familiar face valued for versatility and character-driven performances.
