Evan Peters
Evan Peters (born January 20, 1987, in St. Louis, Missouri) is an American screen actor known for slipping convincingly between offbeat comedy, grounded drama, and heightened genre work. Credited as Evan Thomas Peters, he built early momentum with youthful roles in films such as Sleepover and Kick-Ass, and later appeared as Max Cooperman in Never Back Down and its sequel.
Peters became a pop-culture fixture through his shape-shifting performances across FX’s anthology hit American Horror Story, where he repeatedly reinvented himself season to season. He expanded his range on television as Stan Bowes in the first season of the ballroom drama Pose, adding emotional restraint and complexity to an already varied résumé.
On the blockbuster side, Peters brought speed and swagger to Peter Maximoff/Quicksilver in X-Men: Days of Future Past and subsequent X-Men entries, later crossing into the Marvel sphere with WandaVision. In 2021, he earned a Primetime Emmy Award for Mare of Easttown, and returned to the American Horror Story universe as Austin Sommers in Red Tide.
More recently, Peters drew widespread attention for portraying Jeffrey Dahmer in Netflix’s Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, while continuing to balance prestige TV with major studio projects, including TRON: Ares.
