Fabien Frankel
Fabien Frankel (also credited as Fabien Joseph Besson-Frankel and Fabien Besson-Frankel) is a London-born actor recognized for screen work that blends classical training with contemporary range. Born on April 6, 1994, at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in West London, he comes from a creative family: his father was English actor Mark Frankel, and his mother is actress and composer Caroline Besson.
Frankel’s early life was shaped by both heritage and loss. His father’s family is Jewish, with roots that include ancestors from Iraq and Mumbai, India through his paternal grandmother. He was just two when his father died in a road accident, and he and his younger brother, Max, were brought up in London by their mother. French was spoken at home, and weekly cinema trips helped spark his love of film.
He refined his craft through a Foundation Course at RADA, then completed a BA in Professional Acting at LAMDA in 2017. On screen, Frankel is known for roles in The Serpent (as Dominique Renelleau) and films including Last Christmas, alongside credits such as Venice at Dawn, Daddy, and The Actor. He continues to expand his profile with projects like Task (as Anthony Grasso) and an untitled A24 horror film.
