Finn Wittrock
Finn Wittrock (born October 28, 1984, in Lennox, Iowa) is an American screen and stage actor known for bringing intensity and nuance to both prestige drama and mainstream entertainment. Raised around theater in Massachusetts and Los Angeles, he pursued acting seriously after high school and later trained at New York’s Juilliard School.

After three seasons, he returned to the theater spotlight in a major revival of Death of a Salesman, earning strong notice for his performance as Happy Loman opposite Philip Seymour Hoffman.
Back on screen, he expanded into period series and studio films, including a recurring turn on Masters of Sex and roles in features such as Noah and Winter’s Tale. In 2014, he appeared in HBO’s The Normal Heart and began a creative relationship with Ryan Murphy through American Horror Story.
His later credits highlight a range of character work, from Unbroken (as Francis “Mac” McNamara) to Origin (as August Landmesser), plus titles like Downtown Owl, Don’t Move, Free Radicals, Start Without Me, and Drone.
