Fortune Feimster

Fortune Feimster (born July 1, 1980, in Charlotte, North Carolina) is an American comedian, writer, and actor whose warm, observational style has made her a familiar face across TV, film, and live stages.

She first broke through to mainstream audiences with a television debut on NBC’s Last Comic Standing in 2010, then expanded her acting profile with a standout run as Colette on The Mindy Project (2015–2017). Feimster has continued to build a versatile screen presence, balancing comedic roles with ensemble work in high-profile series.

In 2019, she also moved into hosting, launching the interview-driven radio show What a Joke with Papa and Fortune alongside Tom Papa, a key part of SiriusXM’s Netflix Is a Joke channel.
