Gal Gadot

Gal Gadot (also credited as Gal Gadot Varsano) is an Israeli screen artist and international star, born April 30, 1985, in Petah Tikva, Israel. She rose from local fame to global recognition through major studio franchises, becoming one of the most visible Israeli actors in modern Hollywood.

After growing up in Rosh HaAyin, Gadot drew early attention by winning Miss Israel 2004 and later completing two years of Israel Defense Forces service as a combat trainer. She parlayed that profile into modeling and brand work, then transitioned to acting with an Israeli TV debut before landing her first breakout film role.

Gadot’s big-screen arrival came as Gisele Yashar in Fast & Furious, a character she revisited across the series, including Fast Five and an uncredited appearance in Fast X. She also appeared in titles such as Date Night and Knight and Day, steadily expanding her range in action and mainstream comedy.

Her defining pop-culture role is Diana Prince in the DC films, where her portrayal of Wonder Woman helped shape the franchise from 2016 to 2023, including an uncredited cameo in The Flash. Named to Time’s 100 most influential people in 2018 and a top-ranked Forbes earner, she later made history as the first Israeli actor to receive a Hollywood Walk of Fame star (2025), and is set to play the Evil Queen in Snow White.
