Grégoire Colin

Grégoire Colin (born July 25, 1975, in Châtenay-Malabry, Hauts-de-Seine) is a French screen actor known for quietly intense performances across auteur cinema and character-driven dramas.

He gained international attention in the late 1990s with standout roles such as Chriss in The Dreamlife of Angels and Gilles Sentain in Claire Denis’ Beau Travail, establishing a reputation for naturalistic acting and emotional precision.

Colin continued to build a varied filmography, appearing as Noé in Denis’ 35 Shots of Rum and leading projects like Snowboarder (Josh Attersen) and A Song of Innocence (Julien). His credits also include Our Men (Le chef de corps), L'Œil écarlate (Christophe), and Son of Gascogne (Harvey).

Whether in intimate ensemble pieces or more stylized storytelling, Colin remains a distinctive presence in French cinema, prized for roles that favor nuance over spectacle.
