Greta Lee

Greta Lee (also credited as Greta Jiehan Lee) is an American screen and stage actress born on March 7, 1983, in Los Angeles, California. Known for sharp, character-driven performances, she has steadily built a career that moves fluidly between theatre, television, and film.

Lee first developed her craft onstage, earning major attention with a Broadway debut in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (2007). She went on to appear in the revival of La Bête on Broadway and in London’s West End, and later performed in Amy Herzog’s 4000 Miles at Lincoln Center—credits that helped cement her as a versatile performer.

On screen, she became widely recognized through standout supporting work on Netflix’s Russian Doll and Apple TV+’s The Morning Show, the latter bringing her a Primetime Emmy nomination. Her profile rose further with a leading role in the acclaimed romantic drama Past Lives (2023), which also earned her a Golden Globe nomination.

Lee’s filmography continues to expand across genres, with notable credits including Problemista (Dalia), Rumble (voice), The Breakthrough (Jane), Strays (voice), and upcoming TRON: Ares (Eve Kim).
