Hailee Steinfeld
Hailee Steinfeld (also credited as Hailee Puring Steinfeld) is an American screen artist and singer born on December 11, 1996, in Tarzana, Los Angeles, California. She broke through as the sharp-witted Mattie Ross in True Grit, a performance that quickly placed her among Hollywood’s most promising young actors and brought major awards attention.
Steinfeld expanded her range with high-profile studio projects, including Ender’s Game as Petra Arkanian, and became a familiar voice to animation fans as Gwen Stacy in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse and Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, she stepped into the role of Kate Bishop, appearing in franchise-related specials such as Marvel Studios' 2021 Disney+ Day Special and behind-the-scenes coverage like Marvel Studios Assembled: The Making of Hawkeye.
Alongside acting, Steinfeld built a parallel music career after her standout performance in Pitch Perfect 2, leading to a record deal and a run of popular singles and EP releases.
