Harry Greenwood

Harry Greenwood (also credited as Harry Weaving Greenwood; Greek: Χάρι Γκρίνγουντ) is an Australian screen actor born on January 11, 1989, in Sydney, New South Wales. Raised in a creative household, he is the son of acclaimed actor Hugo Weaving and artist Katrina Greenwood.

Greenwood has built a steady career across Australian film, often drawn to tense, character-driven stories. He is known for his work in The Stranger (as The Stranger) and has appeared in features such as Sleeping Dogs (Richard Finn), Carnifex (Ben), and the anthology film 8 as Simon in the segment “The Water Diary.”

His credits also include the war drama Hacksaw Ridge (Henry Brown), the historical thriller The Nightingale (Jago), and the sci-fi feature Ascendant (Dr. R. Schumann). With a filmography that spans genre cinema and prestige drama, Greenwood continues to establish himself as a versatile presence on screen.
