Hayden Schlossberg
Hayden Schlossberg (born June 9, 1978, in Livingston, New Jersey) is an American screenwriter, director, and producer best known for shaping modern studio comedy through his long-running creative partnership with Jon Hurwitz.
Schlossberg first broke through as a co-writer of Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle, a cult favorite that helped redefine the stoner-comedy road movie for a new generation. He and Hurwitz later expanded the franchise by co-writing, co-directing, and co-producing Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay, cementing their reputation for fast, character-driven humor with a sharp satirical edge.
Beyond writing, Schlossberg has appeared on screen in playful cameos connected to his projects, including uncredited roles in the Harold & Kumar films. He has also shown up as himself in projects such as Reunited Apart and Cobra Kai: Inside the Dojo, reflecting his behind-the-scenes presence in the pop-culture conversation.
Raised in New Jersey, Schlossberg attended Randolph High School and graduated with honors from the University of Chicago in 2000—an academic foundation that complements his career in mainstream entertainment.
