Henry Ashton

Henry Ashton (born 10 February 1991) is an English screen actor from Bletchley, Buckinghamshire (now part of Milton Keynes). After growing up in the county, he attended Millfield School from 2004 to 2009, where an early interest in performance began to take shape.

Before committing to acting full-time, Ashton spent roughly a decade moving through a range of day jobs—working across retail, hospitality, fashion and music—experiences that helped inform his grounded on-screen presence. He later formalised his craft at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, graduating in 2022.

Ashton’s profile rose in 2024 with prominent television roles, including Lord Stan Dudley in Amazon Prime’s fantasy series My Lady Jane and Max Hastings in the BBC Three teen drama A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder. He has also appeared in Outlander as Sandy Hammond, expanding his reach across popular UK and international productions.

His screen credits further include Creation Stories (as Kevin Shields), Pressure (as John Eisenhower), In the Room (as Danny), Red, White & Royal Wedding, and A Knight in the Making (as Self), marking him as a versatile performer with momentum across film and TV.
