Isabelle Fuhrman

Isabelle Fuhrman (born February 25, 1997, in Washington, D.C.) is an American screen actor known for intense, detail-driven performances that cut across horror, thriller, and studio franchise fare. She entered the industry early after being noticed by a casting professional while accompanying her older sister, a moment that quickly opened doors to on-camera work and auditions in Los Angeles.

Her first paid booking arrived in 2006 with a national commercial, followed by a fast run of roles in ads and film projects, plus comedy appearances on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. With momentum building, Fuhrman and her family relocated to Los Angeles so she could pursue acting full time.

Fuhrman’s breakout came with her chilling lead turn as Esther in Orphan (2009), earning widespread praise and establishing her as a standout young performer. She later reached global audiences as Clove in The Hunger Games (2012), and continued expanding her filmography with credits including Escape Room: Tournament of Champions (as Claire), Signal One, Hounddog, and Horizon: An American Saga - Chapter 2.

Beyond the screen, Fuhrman has appeared in fashion and culture editorials for outlets such as Vanity Fair, Nylon, Marie Claire, and Teen Vogue, reflecting a career that balances mainstream visibility with bold role choices.
