Jaafar Jackson

Jaafar Jackson (also credited as Jaafar Jermiah Jackson) is an American screen artist, singer, and dancer born on July 25, 1996, in Los Angeles, California. As the son of Jermaine Jackson, he grew up close to one of music’s most influential families while developing his own performance identity.

Before stepping into major film work, Jackson introduced himself as a recording artist with his debut single, “Got Me Singing”, released in 2019. His musical background—rooted in vocals, rhythm, and stagecraft—helped shape the kind of physical, detail-driven performance that later drew attention in the acting world.

Jackson’s breakthrough as an actor came with his casting as his uncle in Michael (2026), where he portrays Michael Jackson. The role positions him at the center of a high-profile biographical project, with additional association to the Untitled Michael Sequel, also credited as Michael Jackson.

He has also appeared as himself in programs such as Michael Jackson: The Life of an Icon, The Kelly Clarkson Show, Season 25: Oprah Behind the Scenes, Morgenmagazin, and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, reflecting his growing visibility across entertainment media.
