Jack Huston

Jack Huston (also credited as Jack Alexander Huston) is an English screen actor and director, born on December 7, 1982, in London, England. Known for intense, character-driven performances, he has built a career spanning prestige television and studio features, earning a reputation for disappearing into complex roles.

Huston became widely recognized for his work on HBO’s Boardwalk Empire, where he played Richard Harrow, a defining performance that helped cement his international profile. He later expanded his film résumé with a notable supporting turn in American Hustle (2013) and took on a major leading role as the title character in the historical epic Ben-Hur (2016).

On television, he continued to gravitate toward ambitious projects, joining the fourth season of FX’s anthology series Fargo (2020) as a central figure, and starring in the supernatural drama Mayfair Witches (2023). Across genres—from crime and period drama to the occult—his choices highlight a consistent appetite for bold storytelling.

Among Huston’s additional credits are Outlander (Wulfric), Factory Girl (Gerard Malanga), Shrink (Shamus), Shrooms (Jake), Garden of Eden (David Bourne), and The Final Shot: A Farewell to Boardwalk Empire (Self).
