Jacob Chase
Jacob Chase (also credited as Jacob Samuel Chase) is an American screen artist born on July 1, 1986, in Panorama City, California. Working across film and television, he has built a career that spans directing as well as on-screen roles, moving between genre storytelling and character-driven projects.
Chase is best known as a filmmaker for directing The Four-Faced Liar (2010) and the horror feature Come Play (2020). He later expanded his genre footprint with Insidious: Out of the Further (2026), reinforcing his reputation for suspenseful, audience-forward direction.
As an actor, Chase has appeared in a wide range of credits, including Babylon 5: In the Beginning (Luc Deradi), 7th Heaven (Mark Huff), Boy Meets World (Dominick), and Conan the Adventurer (Dee-ahn). His film roles include Freak Weather (Albert), Brave New World (Gabriel), and Moondance (Pitcher), and he also appears as himself in Haunters: The Art of the Scare.
