Jaeden Martell

Jaeden Martell (born January 4, 2003, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is an American screen actor who first gained attention as a standout child performer. Credited early as Jaeden Lieberher, he broke through with warmly observed work in St. Vincent as Oliver Bronstein, earning major young-performer recognition, and followed with the enigmatic lead in the sci‑fi thriller Midnight Special as Alton Meyer.

Martell continued building momentum with prominent studio roles, including Aloha as Mitchell Woodside and the title performance in The Book of Henry as Henry Carpenter. His mainstream breakthrough arrived when he played Bill Denbrough in the blockbuster horror phenomenon It and It Chapter Two, a pairing that helped define his transition from child actor to leading man.

Since then, Martell has leaned into darker, more mature material—headlining the chilling Mr. Harrigan’s Phone as Craig and taking on tense dramatic work in Defending Jacob. He has also diversified with genre and comedy projects such as Arcadian (Joseph) and Y2K (Eli), continuing to evolve as a versatile presence across film and streaming.
