Jane Levy

Jane Levy (also credited as Jane Colburn Levy; ジェーン・レヴィ; جین لوی) is an American screen actress born on December 29, 1989, in Los Angeles, California. Trained at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting, she quickly built a reputation for sharp comedic timing and emotionally grounded performances.

Levy first drew wide attention on television as the original Mandy Milkovich in Showtime’s Shameless (2011). After the debut season, she pivoted to a starring role on ABC’s Suburgatory (2011–2014), anchoring the sitcom with a mix of wit and vulnerability and establishing herself as a standout young lead.

Her film work broadened her profile, including roles in Fun Size (as April Martin), Nobody Walks (as Caroline), About Alex (as Kate), Monster Trucks (as Meredith), and Bang Bang Baby (as Stepphy). She also became closely associated with modern horror, fronting Evil Dead (as Mia Allen) and later reuniting with director Fede Álvarez for Don’t Breathe.

Returning to TV, Levy appeared in There’s… Johnny!, Castle Rock, and the Netflix miniseries What/If. From 2020 to 2021, she led NBC’s Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist as Zoey Clarke, earning a Golden Globe nomination and reprising the role in Zoey’s Extraordinary Christmas.
