Jason Isaacs
Jason Isaacs (born June 6, 1963, in Liverpool, Merseyside, England) is an English screen and stage actor celebrated for intelligent, often formidable character work across film, television, and voice performance.
On the big screen, Isaacs has made a lasting impression in major studio titles and prestige dramas, including Black Hawk Down as CPT Mike Steele and the Harry Potter series as the icy Lucius Malfoy. He has also taken on iconic dual roles in Peter Pan as James Hook/George Darling, alongside credits such as Sweet November, Agent Game, and Armageddon.
Television has expanded his range, from the enigmatic Dr. Hunter “Hap” Percy in Netflix’s The OA to Captain Gabriel Lorca in Star Trek: Discovery. His voice work is equally recognizable, notably as Admiral Zhao in Avatar: The Last Airbender and roles within the Star Wars Rebels universe.
