Jason Sudeikis

Jason Sudeikis (also credited as Daniel Jason Sudeikis; born September 18, 1975, in Fairfax, Virginia) is an American actor, comedian, writer, and producer whose career grew out of 1990s improv. He sharpened his timing on major comedy stages including ComedySportz, iO Chicago, and The Second City before breaking into television.

In 2003, Sudeikis joined Saturday Night Live as a writer, then became a featured performer and spent nine seasons on the cast (2005–2013). Known for sharp character work and political impressions—most notably Joe Biden and Mitt Romney—he became a reliable anchor of the show’s ensemble era.

From 2020 to 2023, he co-created and starred in Apple TV+’s Ted Lasso, a breakout sports comedy that brought him major awards recognition, including multiple Emmys and Golden Globes. He also appeared across a range of TV comedies, with roles in 30 Rock, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Portlandia, and The Last Man on Earth, and was a key voice on The Cleveland Show.

On film, Sudeikis has balanced studio hits with offbeat indies, appearing in titles such as Hall Pass, Going the Distance, What Happens in Vegas, The Bounty Hunter, and Meet Bill, while also taking on voice work in animated features.
