Jeff Tremaine

Jeff Tremaine (born September 4, 1966, in Rockville, Maryland) is an American screen artist best known for his long-running creative leadership within the Jackass universe. Working across directing, writing, producing, and showrunning, Tremaine helped shape a distinctive brand of stunt-driven comedy that became a defining pop-culture phenomenon of the early 2000s and beyond.

From the franchise’s earliest days, he has been closely tied to its development and evolution, guiding projects that expanded the original concept into specials, spin-offs, and feature-length releases. His behind-the-scenes role has made him a key architect of the series’ tone—mixing outrageous spectacle with a tightly managed production approach.

On screen, Tremaine has also appeared as himself in notable entries such as CKY 4: The Latest & Greatest, Jackass: Too Hot For MTV, Jackass: Where Are They Now, Jackass: The Beginning, Jackass 4.5, Jackass: Gumball Rally 3000 Special, and Jackass Shark Week 2.0, reinforcing his visibility as part of the franchise’s extended cast.
