Jeff Wadlow
Jeff Wadlow (also credited as Jeffrey C. Wadlow and Jeffrey Clark Wadlow) is an American director, screenwriter, and producer born on March 2, 1976, in Arlington, Virginia. Known for shaping high-concept genre stories with mainstream appeal, he has built a career that spans film and television, earning recognition for his work behind the camera.
Wadlow is widely associated with feature filmmaking as the writer-producer-director of titles such as Kick-Ass 2 (2013), Truth or Dare (2018), Fantasy Island (2020), and Imaginary (2024). His projects often blend suspense, horror, and dark humor, anchored by clear premises and fast pacing.
Beyond his best-known directing credits, Wadlow’s screen appearances and earlier work include roles in The Tower of Babble (as Derek), Pearl Harbor (as Next Guy in Line), I’m Through with White Girls (as Billy), and Roswell (as Professor), as well as a self appearance on Made in Hollywood.
In 2022, he received a nomination from the Directors Guild of America for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Television, Commercials and Documentary, highlighting his reach beyond feature films.
