Jeffrey Clifford

Jeffrey Clifford is an American screen artist and producer best known for steering high-profile film development and production across major studios. He serves as President of Heyday Films, the Warner Bros.-based company founded by David Heyman, where he has helped guide the company’s slate and creative partnerships.

At Heyday, Clifford produced The Light Between Oceans and took on executive producer duties for the beloved family hits Paddington and Paddington 2. His work there reflects a balance between prestige storytelling and broad audience appeal, with an emphasis on filmmaker-driven projects.

Before joining Heyday, Clifford ran production and development at The Montecito Picture Company, the Paramount-linked venture led by Ivan Reitman and Tom Pollock. During that period he produced Up in the Air, starring George Clooney, along with multiple other features. He also co-led Cold Spring Pictures, Montecito’s $200 million co-financing arm, and managed a $2 million annual development fund.

Earlier, Clifford served as Vice President of Production at Warner Bros., overseeing films including Firewall and Darren Aronofsky’s The Fountain. He previously held the same role at Walt Disney/Touchstone Pictures, where he oversaw projects such as The Royal Tenenbaums, 25th Hour, and Unbreakable. He began as an independent producer in New York on Safe Men and graduated from Yale University in 1991.
