Jennifer Salt

Jennifer Salt (also credited as Jenifer Salt) is an American screen artist known primarily for her acting work across landmark films of the late 1960s and 1970s. Born on September 4, 1944, in Los Angeles, California, she became associated with a wave of daring, character-driven American cinema.

Salt is widely recognized for appearing in Midnight Cowboy as Annie and for her role as Grace Collier in Brian De Palma’s thriller Sisters. She also turned up in offbeat and influential titles such as Brewster McCloud (Hope), Hi, Mom! (Judy Bishop), and early ensemble work in The Wedding Party (Phoebe), showcasing a knack for grounded performances in unconventional stories.
