Jeremy Dawson

Jeremy Dawson is a Canadian-American producer and visual effects artist whose work is closely associated with distinctive, craft-driven filmmaking. Born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, he has built a career bridging technical artistry and production leadership, helping bring ambitious, stylized stories to the screen.

Dawson earned major industry recognition as a producer on Wes Anderson’s The Grand Budapest Hotel, receiving an Academy Award nomination for Best Picture at the 87th Academy Awards. The film also captured the Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy, further cementing his reputation for supporting films that resonate with both critics and audiences.

In animation, Dawson has been celebrated for his contributions to stop-motion features, including Oscar-nominated Fantastic Mr. Fox (2009) and Isle of Dogs (2018), both recognized in the Best Animated Feature category. He is also credited on Fantastic Mr. Fox as Beaver’s Son (voice), and appears as himself in Inside The Fountain: Death and Rebirth.
