Ji Chang-wook
Ji Chang-wook (also credited as Ji Chang Wook and Ji Changwook) is a South Korean screen actor and singer born on July 5, 1987, in Anyang, Gyeonggi, South Korea. Known for his charismatic leads and physical, emotionally precise performances, he has become a familiar name to global audiences through a steady run of high-profile film and television work.
He first drew major attention as the central character in the long-running drama Smile Again (2010–2011), a breakthrough that set the stage for leading roles across genres. From historical action in Warrior Baek Dong-soo to the sweeping epic Empress Ki, he continued to expand his range with modern hits including Healer, The K2, and Suspicious Partner.
In recent years, Ji has balanced romance, fantasy, and darker crime storytelling with projects such as Lovestruck in the City, The Sound of Magic, If You Wish Upon Me, The Worst of Evil, and Welcome to Samdal-ri.
