Jimmy Tatro
Jimmy Tatro (also known as James Tatro) is an American actor, comedian, writer, and digital creator born on February 16, 1992, in Los Angeles, California. He first broke through online as the creator and star of the YouTube sketch channel LifeAccordingToJimmy, where his fast, character-driven comedy built a massive audience and established his hands-on style as a writer, producer, and director alongside collaborator Christian A. Pierce.
That internet momentum translated into a steady film and TV career, with scene-stealing turns in studio comedies and genre projects. Tatro became widely recognized for his role in 22 Jump Street as Rooster, and he continued expanding his range through both live-action and voice work, including Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules (voice) and Strays (voice).
On television, he earned critical attention for playing Dylan Maxwell in the true-crime mockumentary American Vandal, and later anchored network comedy as Connor on ABC’s Home Economics. Recent credits such as The Machine (Young Bert), Theater Camp (Troy Rubinsky), California King (Wyatt), and You’re Cordially Invited (Dixon) underline his knack for sharp comedic timing and modern, relatable characters.
