John Campea
John Campea (also credited as Giovanni Burton Campea and Giovanni Campea) is a Canadian screen artist and director born on February 26, 1972, in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Now based in Los Angeles, he is widely recognized as a producer and on-camera media personality with a long-running presence in modern movie commentary.
Campea built his profile through film-focused projects and talk formats that helped shape online entertainment coverage. His work spans titles such as The Anniversary (2009), AMC Movie Talk (2012), Collider Movie Talk (2015), and the fan-favorite The John Campea Show (2017), where his direct, conversational style made him a familiar voice for audiences tracking industry news and releases.
Alongside hosting and producing, Campea has appeared on screen in various capacities, including Attack of the Doc! (as Self) and Prince of Peace – God of War (as Himself). He also has uncredited appearances in The Incredible Hulk and is featured via archive footage in Spaceballs: The New One. He has been married to Ann Campea since 2010.
