John Lithgow
John Lithgow (born October 19, 1945, in Rochester, New York) is an American screen and stage artist celebrated for his range, shifting effortlessly between comedy, drama, and character work. After studying at Harvard University and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, he built a career defined by versatility and craft.
On Broadway and beyond, Lithgow became a major theatrical presence, earning multiple Tony Awards and further nominations across decades of acclaimed productions. His stage work has remained a constant alongside film and television, reinforcing his reputation as a performer equally at home in intimate drama and larger-than-life roles.
