Jon Hamm
Jon Hamm (Jonathan Daniel Hamm; born March 10, 1971, in St. Louis, Missouri) is an American screen actor known for blending classic leading-man presence with sharp comedic timing. International audiences most closely associate him with the iconic role of Don Draper on Mad Men (2007–2015), a performance that earned major industry recognition, including a Primetime Emmy and multiple Golden Globes.
Beyond television, Hamm has built a varied film résumé across drama, action, and comedy. His notable credits include The Town as FBI agent Adam Frawley, Sucker Punch as the High Roller/Doctor, and The Day the Earth Stood Still as Michael Granier, along with early work in We Were Soldiers. He has also taken on lighter roles such as Coach Carr in Mean Girls and Chris Knarl in The Ten.
Hamm frequently moves between prestige projects and mainstream entertainment, appearing in series like Black Mirror, Good Omens, Legion, and Fargo, while earning Emmy nominations for standout guest turns on shows including 30 Rock and The Morning Show. As a voice performer, he joined the animated hit Shrek Forever After as Brogan.
