Jonathan Roumie
Jonathan Roumie (also known as جاناتان رومی) is an American actor born on July 1, 1974, in New York City. A versatile screen performer, he has built a career across film, television, and voice work, earning wide recognition for character-driven roles and emotionally grounded performances.
Roumie is best known for portraying Jesus in The Chosen, including The Chosen: Season 3 Finale and The Chosen: Season 4, as well as the event special Christmas with The Chosen: Holy Night. His work in the series has helped make him a familiar face to global audiences, praised for bringing warmth and humanity to a role that demands both intimacy and scale.
Beyond The Chosen, Roumie’s credits span contemporary drama and mainstream entertainment.
