Jonathan Schwartz is an American production executive best known for his work at Marvel Studios, where he serves as Vice President of Production and Development. As part of the studio’s leadership group often referred to as the “Parliament,” Schwartz contributes to shaping the creative and strategic direction of Marvel’s film and series slate.

Schwartz has been with Marvel Studios since 2008, building a long-running career inside the company as the Marvel Cinematic Universe expanded into a global franchise. Over time, Schwartz advanced into a creative executive capacity, with his rise aligning with major milestone projects such as Marvel’s The Avengers. His behind-the-scenes influence has also been highlighted on camera through appearances in the documentary series Marvel Studios Assembled, including Marvel Studios Assembled: The Making of Secret Invasion, where he is credited as Self and discussed as an executive/creative producer.
