Josh Duhamel

Josh Duhamel (also credited as Joshua David Duhamel) is an American screen actor born on November 14, 1972, in Minot, North Dakota. He first gained public attention through fashion modeling before pivoting to acting, where his on-camera charisma quickly translated into steady television work.

His breakout came on ABC’s daytime staple All My Children as Leo du Pres, followed by a high-profile run as Danny McCoy on NBC’s glossy crime drama Las Vegas. Those roles established Duhamel as a dependable leading man, equally comfortable with romance, action, and light comedy.

In film, Duhamel is widely recognized for playing William Lennox across the Transformers franchise, including Transformers, Revenge of the Fallen, and Dark of the Moon. He also appeared in titles such as Turistas, Win a Date with Tad Hamilton!, When in Rome, The Romantics, and the ensemble hit New Year’s Eve.

Beyond movies, he has continued expanding into series and interactive projects, including CBS’s Battle Creek, voice/performance work for Call of Duty: WWII, and Netflix’s superhero drama Jupiter’s Legacy as Sheldon Sampson.
