Josh Lucas

Josh Lucas (also credited as Joshua Lucas) is an American screen actor born June 20, 1971, in Little Rock, Arkansas. Known for grounded intensity and leading-man versatility, he has moved easily between studio blockbusters, character-driven dramas, and stage work.

On film, Lucas is widely recognized for roles in A Beautiful Mind (Martin Hansen), Poseidon (Dylan Johns), American Psycho (Craig McDermott), Stealth (Ben Gannon), and Hulk (Talbot). His credits also include An Unfinished Life (Crane Curtis), Session 9 (Hank), Wonderland (Ron Launius), plus later appearances in The Lincoln Lawyer and Ford v Ferrari.

Beyond the screen, Lucas has maintained a notable theater presence, with productions ranging from Tennessee Williams’ The Glass Menagerie on Broadway to off-Broadway storytelling and contemporary plays. He has also lent his voice and performance to documentary projects, including collaborations connected to Ken Burns’ work.

Expanding his creative footprint, Lucas stepped into producing with Stolen Lives, developed through his company Two Bridges—another example of a career defined by craft, range, and steady reinvention.
