Julee Cerda
Julee Cerda is an American screen actor born on January 29, 1978, in Seoul, South Korea. Raised primarily in New York, she also spent part of her childhood in the Dominican Republic, her father’s homeland—an experience that helped shape her multicultural perspective and led to fluent Spanish.
Cerda studied at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York, before building her career on film and television. Based in New York City, she has become known for grounded, character-driven performances and an ability to move comfortably between contemporary drama and mainstream studio projects.
Her credits include The Intern (2015) and both chapters of The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby—Them and Her—where she appears as a nurse. She has also appeared in Passengers as an Instructor (Hologram), The Great Gilly Hopkins as Mrs. Hong, and Holiday for Heroes as Meredith Franklin.
More recent work highlights her range across genres, from Vacation Friends 2 (as Mrs. Kim) and 5lbs of Pressure (as Patricia Earl) to fantasy fare like Descendants: The Rise of Red, where she plays the Evil Stepmother.
