Julie Ann Emery
Julie Ann Emery (also credited as Julie Emery, Jules Emery, and Jules Ann Emery) is an American screen and stage actress born on January 16, 1975, in Crossville, Tennessee. Raised in the South and drawn early to performance, she built her craft through formal training at the Webster Conservatory in St. Louis, Missouri, where she studied acting.
Emery began performing professionally as a teenager, starting on the theatrical stage at 16 and taking on roles in well-known productions including A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum and Bye Bye Birdie. That foundation in live performance helped shape a versatile career that moves easily between comedy, drama, and character-driven ensemble work.
On television, she became a familiar face through guest turns on series such as ER, CSI: Miami, and Commander in Chief, alongside larger parts in Line of Fire and Steven Spielberg’s miniseries Taken. Her film credits include Hitch as Casey, Nothing But the Truth as Agent Boyd, and Movie 43 as Clare in the “Homeschooled” segment.
Emery has also appeared in titles like House (as Leslie Taylor), The Rainbow Tribe (Lauren), The Letter (Dr. Louis), The Dealer Plate (Andrea Stevens), and The History of Future Folk (Holly). She lives in Los Angeles with her husband, Broadway actor Kevin Earley.
