Karen Rosenfelt
Karen Rosenfelt is an American film and television producer and media executive known for steering large-scale, audience-driven projects. Working across studio and franchise filmmaking, she has built a reputation for pairing commercial instincts with polished, character-forward storytelling.
Rosenfelt earned prominent production credits on major hits including The Devil Wears Prada (2008) and the blockbuster Twilight and Percy Jackson film series. Beyond producing, she has also operated as a studio-side executive, helping guide releases such as The Book Thief and Me Before You, along with family-friendly franchises like Alvin and the Chipmunks and Max.
Her industry roots run deep: she is the daughter of Frank Edward Rosenfelt, a former CEO of MGM and later United Artists following MGM’s acquisition, and she is related to former TriStar marketing president and author David Rosenfelt. By 2023, projects associated with her credits had generated more than $6.48 billion worldwide.
Continuing to expand her slate, Rosenfelt partnered with John Goldwyn in 2022 to launch Goldwyn/Rosenfelt Productions, securing a first-look television deal with Warner Bros. Television—a move that underscores her ongoing influence in both film and TV.
