Kathryn Newton (also credited as Kathryn Love Newton) is an American screen actress born on February 8, 1997, in Orlando, Florida. She broke out early on television, gaining wide attention as Louise Brooks on CBS’s comedy Gary Unmarried, before moving into higher-profile dramatic work across premium cable and streaming.

Newton became a familiar face to TV audiences through recurring and starring roles, including Abigail Carlson on HBO’s acclaimed mystery drama Big Little Lies and Allie Pressman in Netflix’s teen drama The Society.
