Kelly McGillis

Kelly McGillis (also credited as Kelly Ann McGillis) is an American screen actor born on July 9, 1957, in Newport Beach, California. Rising to prominence in the 1980s, she became known for grounded, intelligent performances that helped define a generation of mainstream and prestige cinema.

Her breakthrough arrived with Witness, where her portrayal of Rachel earned major awards attention, including a Golden Globe nomination. She soon reached global audiences as Charlie in Top Gun, pairing dramatic poise with blockbuster charisma and cementing her place in pop-culture history.
