Kenneth Choi

Kenneth Choi (also credited as Kenny Choi or Ken Choi; Korean: 케네스 최) is an American actor born on October 20, 1971, in Chicago, Illinois. Known for his grounded intensity and sharp comedic timing, Choi has built a career moving confidently between film blockbusters and character-driven television.

On TV, he gained wide recognition as Henry Lin on Sons of Anarchy, later portraying Judge Lance Ito in The People v. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story. He also appeared as Lewis on Fox’s The Last Man on Earth, and since 2018 has been a series regular on 9-1-1 as LAFD firefighter Howie “Chimney” Han, a role that has made him a fan favorite.

Choi’s film work includes memorable turns as Chester Ming in Martin Scorsese’s The Wolf of Wall Street and as Jim Morita in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, beginning with Captain America: The First Avenger. His other notable credits span action, drama, and comedy, including Only the Brave, War, Red Dawn, Baby, The Real St. Nick, and Behind Enemy Lines II: Axis of Evil.
