Kim Jong-tae
Kim Jong-tae (김종태; 金钟泰), born June 3, 1975, is a South Korean screen actor recognized for grounded, character-driven performances across film and television. Often cast as authority figures, working professionals, or men with complicated pasts, he brings a steady realism that helps anchor ensemble stories.
His film work includes notable appearances in Black Money as Yoon PD, Bar Legend as Elder, and Atonement as Hyung-joo’s stepfather. He also featured in Tazza: The Hidden Card as a Busan gambling-joint thug, along with credits such as The Bad Utterances and We Saw the Devil, where his presence supports tense, high-stakes narratives.
