Kimiko Glenn
Kimiko Glenn (born June 27, 1989, in Phoenix, Arizona) is an American screen and stage actress celebrated for her sharp comedic timing and emotionally grounded performances. She broke through to mainstream audiences as Brook Soso on Netflix’s Orange Is the New Black, part of an ensemble that earned multiple Screen Actors Guild Awards.
On Broadway, Glenn originated the role of Dawn Pinkett in the hit musical Waitress, showcasing a vocal style and presence that translate seamlessly between theater and camera. That versatility has made her a sought-after performer across film, television, and animation.
Glenn is also widely recognized for voice acting, including Peni Parker in the Spider-Verse franchise (including Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse and Beyond the Spider-Verse), along with roles in series such as Voltron: Legendary Defender, DuckTales, BoJack Horseman, Centaurworld, and Hazbin Hotel. Her recent credits range from indie and genre work like Your Monster to family favorites such as Baby Shark’s Big Movie and Beebo Saves Christmas.
