Kristie Macosko Krieger
Kristie Macosko Krieger (also credited as Kristie Macosko, born January 1, 1970, USA) is an American film producer closely associated with director Steven Spielberg’s modern body of work. Over the past two decades, she has become a key behind-the-scenes figure on major studio films, helping shepherd projects from development through production.
Her collaboration with Spielberg began in an assistant/associate capacity, starting with the 1998 documentary The Last Days. She continued in that role across a run of Spielberg-directed features spanning from A.I. Artificial Intelligence (2001) through The Adventures of Tintin (2011), building a reputation for steady, detail-driven production leadership.
Macosko Krieger later moved into producing, with Spielberg’s Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008) marking a notable step in her producer credits. She went on to earn Academy Award nominations for Best Picture as part of the producing teams behind Bridge of Spies (2015), The Post (2017), West Side Story (2021), and The Fabelmans (2022).
On-screen, she has appeared as herself in The Fabelmans: A Family in Film and in the Golden Globe Awards telecast as a nominee—reflecting her growing recognition within the industry.
