Lara Pulver

Lara Pulver (also known as لارا پالور) is an English screen and stage actor born on September 1, 1980, in Kent, England. Raised in the UK, she trained in drama with the National Youth Music Theatre and later earned a BA (Hons) in Theatre, building a foundation that would shape a career spanning acclaimed theatre work and high-profile film and television roles.

On stage, Pulver became known for her commanding presence and emotional range. Her theatre credits include an Olivier Award nomination for her performance as Lucille Frank in Rob Ashford’s production of Parade at London’s Donmar Warehouse. She later reprised the role in Los Angeles at The Mark Taper Forum, drawing strong critical attention for the same part.

Pulver’s screen breakthrough arrived in 2008 with BBC’s Robin Hood, where she played Isabella of Gisbourne. She soon expanded into major projects such as The Special Relationship, Spooks: The Greater Good, and the action blockbuster Edge of Tomorrow.
