Lars Ranthe
Lars Ranthe (born August 26, 1969, in Vesterbro, Copenhagen) is a Danish screen actor known for grounded, character-driven performances across film and television. With a presence that can shift from understated warmth to sharp-edged intensity, he has become a familiar face in modern Scandinavian storytelling.
Ranthe gained international attention through Danish cinema, including Adam’s Apples, where he played Esben, and Brothers as Preben 1. His film work also spans distinctive projects such as A Funny Man (as Kjeld Petersen), Flies on the Wall (as a journalist), and The Stonophone (as Harald), showcasing his versatility in both drama and offbeat narratives.
