Laura Haddock

Laura Haddock (also credited as Laura Jane Haddock) is an English screen actor born on August 21, 1985, in Enfield, London. Raised in Harpenden, Hertfordshire, she left school at 17 to pursue performance, moving to London to study drama and training at the Arts Educational School in Chiswick.

Haddock first broke through on television with the pilot Plus One (part of the 2008 Comedy Showcase), then built a steady profile across British drama and comedy. Her early TV work includes appearances in The Palace, My Family, The Colour of Magic and Marple: A Pocket Full of Rye, alongside lead turns such as Kacie Carter in Honest and Natasha in ITV’s Monday Monday. She later joined How Not to Live Your Life and featured in Strike Back: Project Dawn.

International audiences also recognize Haddock from genre and franchise titles, including Guardians of the Galaxy as Meredith Quill. Her film credits span comedy and thrillers such as The Inbetweeners Movie, Storage 24, SuperBob, Damaged and seasonal fare like A Wonderful Christmas Time. She has also worked on stage, including productions developed for Sky Arts and regional theatre.
