Lauren Morais

Lauren Morais (also credited as Lauren Connelly) is a Welsh screen actor from Cardiff, known for bringing grounded intensity to contemporary drama across stage and television. She trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, building a craft rooted in classical technique and on-camera performance.

Before her screen work gained momentum, Morais developed early credits in theatre, including a production of A Midsummer Night's Dream at Cardiff’s Sherman Theatre—experience that helped shape her range and character work.

On TV, she has appeared in the crime drama Mudtown (2024) as Beca and the mystery series The Red King (2024) as Lucy Popkin, both for Alibi. She is also set to feature in The Crow Girl (2025) as Charlie, a Buccaneer-produced Paramount+ adaptation of Erik Axl Sund’s novel trilogy. Additional notable work includes VisionQuest as Lisa Molinari.
